Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-31
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit DNAi Hub and buy our products, and how you can exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible (data controller)
The controller of your personal data is SCOOCS, Unipessoal, LDA, Rua Direita N.º 188, 1, 5400-220 Chaves, Portugal, Tax ID (NIF) PT516208624. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@scoocs.co.
2. What data we collect
- Contact details — your name and email address, provided at checkout or when you contact us.
- Astrology inputs — for astrology and related features, the birth date, birth time and birth place you enter to generate a reading. These are used to compute and personalize your report.
- Purchase data — order and transaction details processed via Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number; card data is handled directly by Stripe.
- Usage & device data — analytics and advertising events (such as page views and purchases) collected through the Meta Pixel, plus basic technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type) from our hosting.
- Email engagement — when we send you email, whether messages are delivered and opened, via our email provider Klaviyo.
3. Why we use it & legal bases
- To provide the product you bought — delivering course access, generating your reading, sending receipts and support (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- Payments & fraud prevention — processing your order and preventing abuse (contract and legitimate interests).
- Analytics & advertising — measuring our marketing and, where required, showing relevant ads (legal basis: your consent, and/or our legitimate interest in a lawful, privacy-respecting way).
- Marketing email — sending updates about our products, where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted (consent / legitimate interests; you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Legal compliance — meeting accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with (processors & third parties)
We use trusted third parties who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Thinkific — hosting and delivery of the online course.
- Klaviyo — email delivery and marketing.
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel.
- Netlify — website hosting and delivery.
- Moonshot AI ("Kimi") — the AI provider used to generate personalized readings and reports from the inputs you provide.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and course-access data for as long as you have access; order and invoice records for the periods required by tax and accounting law; and marketing data until you unsubscribe or object. Astrology inputs are retained only as needed to provide and re-deliver your reading, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectify inaccurate data, to request erasure, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@scoocs.co — we will respond within the timeframes required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).
8. Cookies, pixels & consent
We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, for essential functionality and, with your consent where required, for analytics and advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any consent controls shown on the site. Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to buy or access a product.
9. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; the current version is identified by the "last updated" date above. Questions or requests: hello@scoocs.co.
