A keepsake book · Human Design for parents

Every child comes with a user manual — most parents never get to read it.

Raised by Design turns a child's exact birth date, time and place into The Book About them — an eighty-page guide to how they are wired, and how to parent with the grain instead of against it. A keepsake, not a report.

Don't know it exactly? Use an approximate time — the book is built as a solar-chart version, and re-done free the moment the exact time turns up.

Where was the child born?

The Book About the child · in progress

The Book About the child is being written.

From the details entered, here are the chapters it will decode —

  1. IThe child's Type & Strategy
  2. IIHow the child is designed to make decisions
  3. IIIWhere the child has steady energy — and where they don't
  4. IVHow to talk so the child listens
  5. VWhat overwhelms the child — and the reset
  6. VIThe child's gifts to protect

Human Design sorts children into one of five natures — Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Reflector — five different ways of being wired. The book decodes which one, and what it means day to day at home. A type can only be pinned down with the exact birth time — so the book confirms it there, not on this screen. We never guess a type.

Sample spreads

What a finished book looks like.

Three miniature spreads from a Founding Edition copy, set for an example child — Maya. Every real book is typeset the same way, but written fresh from one child's own chart.

Chapter I

Type & Strategy

Maya arrived four days early, on her own schedule — and her chart suggests she has kept that habit. This chapter opens the one operating instruction that changes almost everything else about raising her.

Chapter II

How Maya makes decisions

Maya's design doesn't reach a good decision on demand. Asked "quick — yes or no?", she will give an answer to end the pressure, then quietly reverse it by morning. Given a night to sleep on it, her answer holds.

Try: "You don't have to decide now — tell me at breakfast."

The premise

Most advice is written for the average child.

Most advice quietly assumes every child is wired the same way — sleep-train like this, motivate like that. The generic playbook fits some children and not others. The ones it doesn't fit get called difficult, when they were only ever different.

"What if the hard parts weren't a problem to fix, but a design to understand?"

How it's made

From a birth certificate to a book you keep.

Human Design reads the exact date, time and place of a birth as a single chart — a map of how a person is built to decide, spend energy and recover. Raised by Design reads that map and writes it up, in plain language, as a book about one specific child.

I

The details go in

Exact birth date, time and place. Time matters most — it is what separates one design from another.

II

The chart is mapped

Those details resolve to a Human Design type, strategy and energy pattern. No two charts read the same.

III

Written as a book

The chart becomes eighty-plus pages of plain-English chapters — not a data sheet, a guide a parent actually reads.

IV

Yours to keep

Delivered as an instant digital keepsake, with an heirloom hardcover available to print on demand.

A field guide to temperament

Five natures a child can be born with.

Human Design sorts people into one of five types — each a different relationship with energy, decisions and rest. The book names which one a child is, and what that means at home. A lens, not a label.

Type I Manifestor

Initiators who need the freedom to start things their own way.

Type II Generator

Steady engines who thrive on work that genuinely lights them up.

Type III Manifesting Generator

Fast and multi-passionate — they learn by doing several things at once.

Type IV Projector

Perceptive guides who do best when invited, and need more rest than most.

Type V Reflector

Rare and highly sensitive to environment — a barometer for the whole room.

What's inside

Eighty pages, one child.

Every chapter is written about one specific child — their nature, their strategy, and the way they are built to decide, focus, connect and recharge.

An honest fit

Who this is actually for.

For A good fit

  • Parents who sense their child doesn't fit the standard playbook
  • Anyone who wants a deeper "user manual" than milestones and behaviour charts
  • People who'd treasure a keepsake, not a PDF that gets lost in a folder
  • Gift-givers — grandparents, new-baby and naming-day presents

Not for Look elsewhere

  • Anyone seeking clinical, diagnostic or medical guidance
  • People who want peer-reviewed science — Human Design is interpretive, for enrichment
  • Parents who want a one-line tip, not an eighty-page read
  • Skeptics who won't enjoy it as a lens and a conversation-starter

Why a book

The format is already proven in market.

This isn't an untested idea. Since late 2025, personalized Human Design books — eighty-plus pages generated from a person's birth details — have sold as printed hardcovers for around €88 apiece. Raised by Design adapts that proven model: the same depth, delivered as an instant digital book at a fraction of the price, with the hardcover kept as an optional heirloom upgrade.

No parent reviews yet — and we won't invent them. Raised by Design is a founding release. Real words from real families belong right here, so this space stays honestly empty until there are some.

No subscription. A Human Design chart is set at birth and never changes — so this is a one-time keepsake, not a plan. Nothing auto-renews. Have more than one child? A Connection chart for a sibling or a parent is an optional add-on if a family wants more.

For enrichment & entertainment. Human Design is an interpretive system — not medical, psychological or diagnostic advice.

Questions

Before you decide.

Is Human Design real? How accurate is it?
Honest answer: Human Design is an interpretive system that blends astrology, the I Ching and a few other traditions. It isn't peer-reviewed science and it isn't diagnostic. Families use it as a lens and a conversation-starter — a fresh, kind way to think about a child — not as a verdict. The book is offered for enrichment and entertainment.
What if the exact birth time isn't known?
Birth time changes the chart, so it genuinely matters. If it's unknown, the book is built as a solar-chart version — accurate to everything that doesn't depend on the minute — and clearly marked as such. The moment the exact time turns up, the book is regenerated for free. That's why the questions never guess a type from the date alone.
How does delivery work?
The book arrives as an instant digital keepsake (a beautifully typeset PDF) once the generator is live. Raised by Design is a founding release, so founding orders are the first fulfilled as it goes live, at the founding price. The optional hardcover is printed and shipped on demand after that.
Is it really a book, or just a report?
A book. Eighty-plus pages of written chapters designed to be read and kept on a shelf — not a one-page data sheet. The depth is the whole point: it's the difference between a chart printout and something a family actually returns to.
Do I have to buy it again as the child grows?
No. A Human Design chart is set at the moment of birth and never changes, so the book stays accurate for life. It's a one-time keepsake — nothing renews. Connection charts for a sibling or parent are the only optional add-ons, if a family wants more.
What age is it for?
Any age — newborn to teen, and honestly it reads well for adults too. It lands differently as a child grows, but the design underneath is the same, so it's just as fitting as a new-baby gift as it is for a ten-year-old.
